Klinikk A - History

Dr. Frode Amland founded the Nobel Clinic at Skullerud in Oslo in 1992, originally as a pure liposculpture clinic. In 2005, the clinic moved to large and modern premises of 900 square meters at Ryen in Oslo. We were offered a wide range of plastic surgery services. After being run successfully for many years, the clinic was sold to Aleris in 2016.

Dr. Amland eventually missed running his own clinic and started up again at Ryen, under the name Klinikk A. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, he knows what it takes to build a first-class clinic.

Our clinic has undergone significant upgrades. The premises have been recently renovated and have a modern and appealing look that creates a sense of exclusivity and well-being. Klinikk A is equipped with first-class medical equipment, and we place great emphasis on quality at every stage.

Precision, seriousness and long clinical experience are some of the things that describe our brand, where your safety is at the center. We want to be a clinic for the whole of Oslo and the country in general, but are proud that we are located in the south of the city, at Ryen/lower Ekeberg.

Dr. Frode Amland

Dr. Frode Amland is a pioneer in aesthetic surgery in Norway, and a highly skilled surgeon in liposculpture / liposuction and facelift. He holds a PhD in plastic surgery and has also supervised other PhD candidates in the field of liposuction.

Dr. Ståle Buhagen

Senior consultant Dr. Ståle Buhagen is a specialist in plastic and general surgery. He has worked in surgery since 2004, both in the public and private sectors. His main areas of expertise include breast surgery for women and men, facial procedures such as facelift and eyelid surgery, and body contouring procedures including abdominoplasty, arm lift, thigh lift, and liposuction.

Eva Mehlgård

Eva Mehlgård is a trained cosmetic dermatology nurse and has 10 years of experience in cosmetic treatment.
