Revok 50 is a bio-stimulating treatment that contributes to healthy and fresh skin. With age, the production of collagen and elastin deteriorates, and over time the skin loses its natural elasticity and fullness. The skin is no longer able to retain as much moisture, so visible signs of ageing such as wrinkles and loss of volume will gradually appear. Revok 50 is an injection treatment that has a biostimulating effect on the skin. This means that the product helps to increase collagen and elastin production by optimizing the production capacity of fibroblast cells. Fibroblast cells are cells that help to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin. These cells help to maintain the skin's natural resilience and fullness, while counteracting visible signs of ageing.
The most common areas that can be treated are the face, neck, chest, hands and abdomen.
When you first arrive for a consultation, the cosmetic nurse will sit down with you to discuss your needs, wishes and expectations regarding medical treatment with us. Based on what you tell us during the consultation, we will tailor an overview of the treatments that are most relevant to you. Treatment is usually carried out on the same day. Revok 50 is an injection treatment that is injected directly into the skin. When injecting, we use a thin needle, which helps make the stings less uncomfortable. The product is then slowly injected into the tissue. The number of injections depends on the area to be treated and how much needs to be done on the same day. We also have a cream anesthetic that can be applied to the area before treatment, if desired. The treatment itself takes around 20 minutes, including the time with anesthetic cream.
Revok 50 is a great treatment for those who want to prevent early signs of aging, or correct small imperfections in the skin. The product helps to maintain a healthy skin structure while moisturizing the skin. The product can also help to prevent volume loss and has been shown to have a positive effect on superficial scars in the skin. People in their mid-30s and above can benefit from Revok 50 when it comes to prevention and maintaining healthy skin. We have a 20-year age limit on all our treatments.
Immediately after a treatment with Revok 50, small red dots may appear in the skin after the needle pricks, and small elevations in the surrounding area that disappear after a couple of hours. It is also not uncommon for small temporary bruises to appear, which disappear after a few days. These can be covered with make-up the day after treatment if you wish. Avoid exercise and sauna on the same day.
You will see visible results already after the first treatment. However, it is recommended that you have 2-3 treatments at 4-6 week intervals to achieve the best possible results. If you want lasting results, you should also take 1-2 maintenance treatments a year after the first treatment.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women are not treated with Revok 50, or other medical cosmetic injection treatments. We do not treat patients with reduced general condition, fever, or active skin infections such as ongoing herpes outbreaks.
If you are at risk of contracting herpes, you must be informed of this before treatment so that we can organize a good treatment plan adapted to you and your needs.
If your general condition is impaired, wait until you are fully recovered.
If you are taking blood-thinning medication, it may be a good idea to inform us about this in advance of your consultation. We do not treat patients under the age of 20.

Before and after photos have long been prohibited when it comes to cosmetic/aesthetic surgery in Norway. On 21.3.2023, new guidelines were introduced where before and after images now also include injection treatments, and other cosmetic treatments that penetrate the skin.
Before and after pictures are therefore not posted on our website or other social platforms linked to the clinic. If you want to see pictures of results that have been done, you can access this when you come to a consultation.
The consultation with the nurse is free of charge. If canceled less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no-show, NOK 600 will be charged. This applies to the consultation with the nurse.
