There are many different types of mesotherapy that work for different purposes in the skin. The treatment can help to counteract sagging skin, wrinkles, rough skin texture, uneven skin tone, sun damage and acne scars.
If you want to work on deeper skin damage, we recommend combining mesotherapy with other treatments that work deeper in the tissue. Examples of this are laser and dermapen.
The most common areas treated are the face, neck, around the eyes, chest and hands, but you can also perform the treatment on the body if you wish.
The treatment is carried out using a thin needle that is inserted very superficially into the skin. This helps to increase the skin's own collagen production, while the active ingredients are injected directly into the skin. This nourishes the cells and contributes to increased cell growth and improved cell function.
Immediately after treatment, you will be slightly red, and in rare cases you may be slightly swollen. Bruising may occur, but this is also rare. The redness itself subsides after 1-3 days, and you may notice a slight improvement in your skin the same day.
After 4 weeks, 100% effect is seen after 1 treatment. It is recommended to perform 4-8 treatments at 2-4 week intervals, if you want more lasting results.
Most people can use mesotherapy, but it is not recommended if you have an autoimmune disease or are on immunotherapy treatments. People with a known allergy to hyaluronic acid should also be cautious. Makeup can be applied directly the same day after treatment.
